BrewDog Waterloo Install
In September 2023, we took on one of our most unique projects to date – helping install a 5HL brewhouse, tanks, and ancillary equipment at BrewDog Waterloo. This is their biggest venue yet, spanning 27,500 sq ft over two floors, right in the heart of one of London’s busiest stations.
The job came with a twist: the venue was still under construction, positioned directly opposite platforms 2 and 3 of Waterloo Station. Once unloaded, using our electric JMG crane, we had to carefully navigate British Rail health and safety requirements, manoeuvring the brewhouse through the station concourse on skates.
Inside the venue, tight spaces and other contractors still working on getting the site ready to open meant that each tank had to be carefully ingressed using A-frames and skates, with minimal room for error.
Despite the challenges, the full ingress was completed in just two days – a real credit to the planning, teamwork, and steady hands of our crew.
Definitely one for the memory books.
