Full Circle: Mary Returns for a Classic Lift

It’s not often a crane gets to relive one of its first-ever jobs—but that’s exactly what happened with Mary, our JMG MC160 electric crane.

Recently, we returned to a major multinational drinks and brewing company to lift and support a 5.8-tonne filler head for a bearing replacement. What made the job special was that this very same component was one of Mary’s first lifts, completed over three years ago.

With upgraded equipment and the team’s honed expertise, the two-day operation went smoothly. The bearing was replaced, the filler head reinstalled, and safety remained the priority throughout.

A satisfying reminder that the right combination of skilled operators and dependable machinery can tackle even the most technical lifts—time and time again.
